Dear Meena :
We had some correspondance before.

I liked the OCW of MIT first when it was introduced in 2001 or so. But later when I found out academicearth.com with free online courses iÅŸncluding some MIT courses I was facinated.
ONLINE course is 10 times better and 10 times more useful to students directly.
I had a one more " value added " to those as well.
Those Yale courses are taken by Turkish Universities students directly under the supervision of a local professor and then they get a credit for the course.
To add many courses to Turkish university from best universities of the world without any investment and only 25 % salary to local professor. Students is happy. professor is happy. University is happy thet are dealing with first class universities of the world.

So I say let us forget about OCW but let us go to
Open ONLINE Courses to the world in English . Not free though.
Only $ 10-20 per course per semester, per person so that it will be sustainable.
Please comment mgozaydin@hotmail.com from Turkey
