Barcamp Loja 2009 was held on the 28th of November at the Universidad Tecnica Particular de Loxa in Ecuador. The conference was built around the theme of technology and its impact on society, education, and business. Tom Caswell, the Strategic Outreach Manager of the OpenCourseWare Consortium spoke about OER and OCW. You can view the presentation with simultaneous Spanish interpretation below.
Edmundo Tovar from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid also represented the Consoritum and spoke about OCW at this event. Edmundo serves as a Board member of the OpenCourseWare Consortium and is intimately involved with activities at Universia, a consortium of Spanish speaking universities in OCW. And of course, the presentationis in fluent Spanish.
