This is an exciting time for all. More people should know about it, and all the accomplishments that went into it.

I completely agree with the partnership of alaska fairbanks and ocwc to launch distant education. with the rate we are going; technologically, i think it is very important to make sure people are able to access and grab hold of formal education any way they can as it is so crucial to the development of ones self and social atmosphere. i was recently on a site called www.skoolpool.com which allowed me to check out a variety of universities and colleges that had online capabilities and i was surprised at the number of schools now offering up this kind of learning. AND on top of that it was linked to people i know on facebook and myspace so i could see if anyone i knew had anything to say about the whole idea of online ed. i would definately recommend skoolpool.com to anyone trying to find more information on long distant ed. :)
